Customer Relations Executive

Purpose of the Job ,

The post holder will be a key member of the Sales team. He/She will be particularly responsible for dealing with inbound sales and customer service communication and to actively sell additional TBL products and services. This person will also be responsible for ensuring that TBL’s corporate values are upheld in all areas of communication and customer handling.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To receive inbound sales calls from TBL Customers and actively sell TBL products and its additional services.
  • To receive inbound e-mails and phone calls from TBL customers and actively sell TBL products and additional services.
  • To input quotes / pro-forma and sales orders.
  • To search for opportunities to actively up and cross sell TBL products to customers.
  • To actively seek Customer Referrals.
  • To consistently meet productivity targets as set out by the company.
  • To carry out any necessary administrative procedures to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • To participate in necessary training programs.
  • To adhere to the policies and procedures of the company.
  • To carry out ad hoc duties that may be required.
  • To answer all calls within a stated time frame.
  • To ensure that all orders are processed on the same day.
  • To respond to all enquiries/issues within the same day.
  • To complete administration and orders within a set level of attention to detail and focus.
  • To raise repairs/ returns on the TBL Returns schedule.
  • Person Specification Education and Training

    • A levels desirable, but a minimum of 4 GCSE’s or above.
    • Intermediate level on-the-job customer service training.
    • Experience in sales administration. (Preferred but not essential).
    • Industrial manufacturing environment experience with a technical aptitude (preferred but not essential) .

    Skilled welder fabricator required

    High skilled in MIG welding a must, TIG and MMA experience a bonus. Good knowledge of folding, drilling, sawing and general hand tool proficiency Must be able to read drawings and work as part of a team, fabricating large scale fuel tanks in up to 8 mm thick plate. Large tanks can be up to 20 tons so overhead crane experience is also a desirable. Experience of building frameworks from mild steel box section is also a bonus. Good accuracy and an eye for detail required.

TERENCE BARKER would like to capitalise on its unique position and are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for the generation and development of new and existing business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible business development professional, who will facilitate the realisations of TERENCE BARKER’s aspirations. Responsible for their own lead generation, appointment setting, proposal development and presentation, the candidate will manage pro-actively the Business Development process for TERENCE BARKER. Initially, there will be a major emphasis on new business development whilst also managing an existing account base. Split would likely by 70/30%.     • Minimum of Five years’ experience of sales and new business development within the relevant or similar sectors.
    • Proven track record of delivering results.
